EncapSolutions was founded in 2022 by scientists and entrepreneurs who believed the transdermal patch industry had a delivery problem, not a molecule problem. Since then we've built our own manufacturing capability, our own IP, and a team built to take a platform technology from laboratory to market and beyond.

Unlike many platform-technology companies, EncapSolutions owns its core manufacturing step — the proprietary electrospinning process that produces the SkinSync® nanofibre mat — in house, in Sydney, in our own certified cleanroom.
Our Facilities
A dedicated chemical laboratory with full physical and chemical characterisation equipment, plus an ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanroom operated under our ISO 9001 quality management system.
Manufacturing Scale
Our electrospinning line produces nanofibre mat at industrial scale — more than one patch's worth per second — with finished patch assembly and packaging performed by specialist partner manufacturers.
Multidisciplinary Team
Biologists, chemists, chemical engineers, pharmacists, and material scientists working alongside carefully vetted local and international manufacturing partners.
Quality Commitment
We produce the critical components of the patch in house under our ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring full traceability and consistency as we scale toward pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing.

Smarter Innovation for a Better Life
What looks like a simple patch has been fourteen years in the making. The idea behind SkinSync® was born in 2012 at a nanotechnology conference in Dresden, from a simple observation: most patches on the market waste a large portion of their active ingredient. What followed was a long, non-linear journey — across countries, through multiple material iterations, technical setbacks, and the hard choice between a long pharmaceutical pathway and bringing something to people sooner. In 2022, that decision became EncapSolutions: a team committed to taking the technology out of the lab and into real life. We've since built the core nanofibre platform, refined multiple patch generations, established our own production capability, and brought SkinSync® to shelves and screens across the U.S. But the technology was never the point. The question we hold ourselves to is simpler than that: does it help people feel better? Fourteen years on, watching that answer start to become "yes" is what keeps this team going — and we're just getting started.
